| Description: | Session 28 is the 2009 Wet Hop Harvest ale made with fresh "wet" hops. When hops are harvested they are dried and refrigerated to preserve freshness, however, when picked fresh and thrown directly into a boiling batch of beer more of the fresh hop oils and volatile flavors and aromas are retained and come through in the finished product. Made solely with this year's Glacier hop harvest, this decadent hopped up ale is part of Harpoon's 100 Barrel Series. 38 IBU, 6.7% ABV | |
