Description: | Abita does not often brew Belgian-style beers, so this is a bit unusual for them. It pours a clear, dark amber body with a frothy white head. The aroma consists of bready-scented malts laced with sugar, bananas, and generously spiced with clove. The taste is bready, sugary sweet maltiness sprinkled with some brown sugar. Raisins, plums and clove come out in the taste as well. There is a slight warming alcohol presence on the somewhat dry, carbonated finish. 8% abv. $$$$ | |
