Description: | Great Divide brewed this beer in recognition of their 15th anniversary of being in business. They used their popular Denver Pale Ale as a base, and improved upon it. It pours a smoky, amber-copper color with aromas of candied apple, caramel, custard, and even some oak. The taste is an interesting combination of oak-fired vanilla cream and slightly spiced citrus tang. Even at 10% the alcohol seems relatively subdued amongst the complexities of cherries, caramel, butterscotch and piney hops. $$$$ | |
