Description: | This weizenbock is the third in Deschutes' Conflux series, and is the result of a collaboration with Distelhauser Brewery of Germany. Spelt (Dinkel), an ancient species of wheat traditionally used to bake bread, is used in place of traditional wheat malt in this brew. The result is bright, aromatic estery notes of bubblegum, clove, banana, and a hint of citrus. Smooth, full bodied, and lightly spicy, this is a very drinkable brew at 10.5% ABV. | |
