Description: | Incredibly complex in both aroma and flavor, La Luna Rosa owes it's unique profile to a blend of different barrel aged beers, Several of which have been aged on cherries. The beer pours a bright cheerful ruby red with a fine pink head. Exceptional blending gives this beer a deeper body than one might find on similar wild ales. Beyond the initial tart sour lactic notes, the flavor yeilds hints of honey, tart and unripened cherries and soft subtle malt. The lingering finish is simultaneously sweet with cherry and shockingly sour. 8% ABV | |
