| Description: | Good Brown Ale. The pumpkin and pumpkin spices are nicely done and no prominent enough to make this a pumpkin beer. Poured this beer featured a fairly dense dark brown color with some reddish highlights coming through when held to a light. Aroma and taste feature mostly bready malt with some pumpkin spices (cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg) and a plentiful amount of pumpkin. It is mostly a malty brown ale but with the pumpkin/spices added to liven things up. Mouthfeel is rich, smooth and malty. The spices are a nice addition to the "feel". A very well done beer. | |
