| Description: | One of the very best iterations of this anniversary beer that we have ever had, and that is saying something. Huge Porter aged on port wine barrels with orange, vanilla and cranberry. Deep jet black pour with pale khaki head. Nose is laden with espresso and chocolate along with a noticeable citrus zest. Initial taste is cocoa, red wine and espresso. Chocolate flavor lingers as does the barrel notes but the flavor is still concise and never cloying. A dry, slightly bitter chocolate on the finish. | |
