| Description: | De Halve Maan's popular Quadruple aged in Bordeaux, Calvados and Rum barrels. Pours mahogany in color with a thin tan head and a bouquet of aromas ranging from rum soaked vanilla beans, boozy plums and raisins, and caramel apples. The flavor is barrel forward with rum showing up right away followed by a pepper and clove note alongside apple brandy. Smooth medium body with a red wine twang and slight pepper note on the finish. Wildly complex and ages incredibly well. 11% ABV |
