Description: | A forgotten predecessor of the New England IPA, Sunwashed is brewed with a blend of Wheat, Pilsner, and Vienna malts that lend smoothness and a touch of grain. Centennial, Amarillo, and Citra hops provide layers of citrus and pine, while bitter orange peel and coriander add a delicate herbal brightness. Fermented with Belgian Witbier yeast, the beer carries subtle notes of spice and a complexity that lingers beneath the surface. The result is a 6.5% ABV hybrid ale with a soft and inviting haze, and dry finish. Floral aromas and bright citrus meld with gentle bubblegum, and a hint of grain. It’s not quite an IPA, not quite a witbier, but something quietly nuanced in between, and perfect for the remaining days of Summer. |
