Aged in bourbon barrels and inspired by the bold Hammerhead coffee drink—a shot of espresso added to brewed coffee—this imperial stout is brewed with a blend of crushed Ethiopian and espresso beans for an intense coffee flavor. It pours a deep dark brown in color with a creamy latte colored head. Full bodied, this awesome stouts boasts notes of espresso, vanilla and bourbon on the nose. It has flavors of vanilla, spice and dried fruit from the Bourbon barrel aging. It finishes with a nice lingering coffee flavor with hints of warming alcohol, espresso and vanilla. 13.46% ABV Great for aging. | |
