After quietly expanding their single barrel private customer barrel series a few years back, Prairie has started to release some of the best of those absurd variations out into the wild. This one is among the best we have ever had. Adjuncts have a tendency to run amuck in large quanities but here you have a layered and nuanced, yet still massive barrel aged beer. Silky on the tongue and crushingly sweet, predominantly chocolate and hazelnut, this one is a sipper that will start to get way too easy to drink towards the end. 13.2% $$$$$ |
