The Costa Rican yellow honey beans from the famed Las Lajas Farm pairs perfectly with New Belgium La Folie. They added 2.5 lbs of Las Lajas Yellow Honey processed Columbian coffee to the foeder-aged dark sour blend and let that steep for 48 hours. This process infused the coffee's aromatic essential oils for a giant coffee bouquet but does not impart any bitterness, so you experience something totally new- a tart fruit coffee explosion. They then finished it with nitrogen for a cream-like foam reminiscent of the espresso crema! This is a unique experience that any beer enthusiast will love to try! 6.5% ABV. |
