Description: | A collaboration between New Belgium and famed gueze brewer Oud Beersel, this beers name is a play on the international nature of the partnership. Spontaneously fermented in oak vats this beer heeds traditional Belgian beer making standards. Pours a brilliant ruby garnet with a quickly dissipating off white red tinged head. The aroma is of tart cherry, raspberry, vinegar and vanilla. Sharply tart on first taste, the base flavors underneath are of a slight cocoa and oak. Mouthful is almost effervescent and slightly loamy. Finishes slightly sweet with candy apple skins as the sour elements fade. 8% ABV | |
