| Description: | From Evil Twin's BONKERS barrel aged series that pushes the edge of wood aging. Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout Double barrel-aged for 35 months. First in Sine Qua Non Red Wine barrels then Henry Mckenna 12yr Old Bourbon. This is the same barrel finish for the first half of "Deal with Evil" Barleywine. Aged on coconut, toasted coconut, Cook Islands Tahitensis & PNG Tahitensis vanilla, and roasted cocoa nibs. Incredibly dense and detailed beer taste. Letting it warm opens up a ton of flavor underneath the initial mounds candy bar and booze taste. Dark plum, coffee, bakers cocoa and leather notes as it warms. The beer remains silky thanks to all the coconut and vanilla. Extremely sweet and lingering vanillas finish. | |
