| Description: | The third release in our ongoing collaboration series with Equal Parts Brewing. For this release we wanted to leverage Equal Parts world class lager making ability. This West Coast Pilsner is loaded with tropical hops - Citra, Calypso and HBC1019. Pours a pale golden yellow. Good fluffy white head with great retention. Lacing is pronounced. Nose is filled with tropical mango over more traditional grassy Pilsner aromatics. Dry hopping has made the front mouth feel on this one soft and piney a bit like a nice hoppy pale ale but once that fades you get pure clean Lager qualities, a clean bright grassy hop bite and drier finish than the opening taste suggests. a very slight tropical punch hop flavor lingers. Sure to please Pils fans and hopheads alike. |
