| Description: | Local Long Distance is a rustic, oak fermented lager with a strain of Brettanyomyces, commonly referred to as "Brett C", and built on a base of local malt with whole leaf hop additions. The finished product is an approachable Brett beer reminiscent of Spring time and the first bloom of seasonal flowers and young fruit. German Noble hops contribute an herbaceous quality as well as softer notes of apricot, hay and subtle warming spices. This beer also shows fairly strong characteristics of Brettanomyces fermentation while remaining crisp, refreshing and pleasantly easy drinking. 5.8% ABV | |
