| Description: | This traditional doppelbock pours a deep mahogany. The aroma is that of sorghum mollases and wheat toast. The flavor is very similar with a pronounced richness. This malt forward beer carries notes of caramel, molasses, maple syrup, and buttered pumpernickel bread. The higher alochol content is surprisingly well hidden in the decadent malt backbone and only comes through as a slight warming effect in the finish. 8.3% ABV | |
