Description: | This Pruim features the Belle de Louvain variety, an ancient plum, popularly known in Brabant and Limburg province as Paterskloten and Hondskloten respectively. They sourced these at Hoenshof in Limburg. They macerated the entire plums for almost five months with a young lambik on a single ex-Bordeaux barrel. Finally, they blended with more young lambik before bottling. Final fruit intensity is 480 grams of Belle De Louvain plums per litre of Pruim. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed lambik. Fonteinen Pruim is the slow and all-natural maceration of hand-picked whole plums or zwetschgen on traditional lambik. No addition of juices, syrups or artificial sweeteners. Unfiltered. Unpasteurised. 5.8%
