⌂ > (512) Whiskey Barrel Aged Double Pecan Porter w/ Maple

A “double” version of their signature flagship beer, Pecan Porter, this beer was aged for three months in freshly emptied Bourbon barrels, where it developed strong notes of whiskey and hints of oak to compliment delicious flavors of pecan, vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. The MAPLE BOURBON BARREL version of WBADPP was created using oak barrels that first aged bourbon and then were used to aged maple syrup. They bought them freshly emptied of maple syrup and aged the beer inside to gain both a bourbon and maple character.
