Funny Accent is built on Maris Otter, a British malt brewers love thanks to its incredible performance in the brew house and lovely malt flavor; Special B, a kilned specialty malt is also used (maybe in excess) to encourage fig and raisin characteristics typically found in British-style beers. They then use British hops to provide a lovely earth and herb note to the finished beer. Don’t be put off by the "bitter" in Extra Special Bitter, though. This beer is an ultimate pub beer, and it’s easy to have two or three without being put off by any excess bitterness. 6.1%
