Obsidian in color with a tan lacy head, the brew itself is not as full-bodied as most of its barrel aged and imperial cousins. The slight acidity and espresso bean bitterness are complemented by the caramel contributions from the barrel as well as that lovely warm alcohol finish. This is the beer that Santa would drink at the end of his holiday run. 11% ABV |
