| Description: | This beer has been a popular Stone favorite since its August 2013 debut. A collaboration with Drew Curtis, Wil Wheaton, and Stone's Greg Koch- this imperial stout is brewed with pecans, wheat, flaked rye, and bourbon soaked wood. Pours pitch black, with a thin lasting tan head. Aroma gives notes of boozy candied pecans, toasted oak, and vanilla. Taste is robust and complex- roasted espresso, dry bakers chocolate, oak, and vanilla flavors dominate. Mouthfeel is thick and chewy and full-bodied. This beer finishes with a lingering, sticky boozy vanilla finish. 13% ABV | |
