Commitment Imperial Stout in Bourbon Barrels with Cacao Nibs and Coffee. In November of 2017 Saint Arnold brewed Divine Reserve 18 - an Imperial Stout that would ultimately transform into their annual release of Commitment. Some of Divine Reserve 18 was racked into bourbon barrels for Bishops Barrel 24, but some of those barrels were held back for extended aging - 33 months to be exact. They selected Java Pura’s Ethiopian Ayehu coffee and Xocolla’s Peruvian Marañón Cacao to add to the beer after aging. The result is a decadent stout with intense notes of mocha, coffee, vanilla, caramel and bourbon. The texture is velvety smooth and the finish is soft and satisfying.  15.3% ABV
