This very heavy hitting Porter is a rich, ruby toned brown in color with a foamy, tan head.  You are immediately met with notes of sweet espresso, tootsie roll and just the faintest kick of booze on the nose that amp up into full gear on the palate alongside flavours of intense cognac, dark cherry, cinnamon, and charred, caramel sweetness.  The finish is sweet, cinnamon coffee and a long lingering alcohol taste that will send some shivers down your spine if you aren't braced and ready for this boozy behemoth.  12% and you can taste it, but in this case that's a damned good thing!
