| Description: | Moderne Dansk is a barrel aged wild ale refermented with Danish Stevnsbær cherry juice from the renowned Frederiksdal Kirsebærvin in Denmark. Aged on casks previously containing Frederiksdal cherrywine. Deep garnet red pour. Nose is effervescent with deep cherry, plum and blackberry aromatics and a bright tart citrus character. Deep and rich with layers upon layers of cherry complexity. Tartness is pronounced but very well balanced with the deep juicy cherry and cranberry notes. A mild cellar funk in the middle taste. Oaky finish. | |
