⌂ > Oud Beersel Oude Faro

A blend lambics finished with Belgian Candi Sugar.  Medium reddish brown.  Nose has pronounced tartness with a mild oaky sweetness.  Brown sugar character adds more to the body than the actual flavor making this a bit fuller.  The sweetness has all but been dried out by the wild yeast adding a thread of ceral grain like malt character over the funky dry citrus and wet stone flavors. Look for notes of peach skin and fermented apricot on the finish.
