| Description: | After meeting Head Brewer Tim Gormley of BURIAL BEER CO. in Asheville, NC, they knew right away they had common interests. Using our shared love for artisanship & traditional methods in sour brewing, they brewed UNCOIL, a KOMPLEX & FUNKY barrel-aged sour ale. They fermented local malts from Sugar Creek Malt Co. with Brett in our oak foudres before aging for six months in their house barrels. After blending with our lambic-style sour ale, BASIS, they added German hops for a subtle hop presence. Golden in appearance, notes of pear and apple are complemented by a tart, dry finish. 5% | |
