This year Freetail has decided to hit everyone's favorite seasonal with a new twist and has whiskey barrel aged their La Muerta in three different distilleries' whiskey barrels.  Tattersal Rye La Muerta  has a much brighter, more acidic whiskey aroma that contrasts the heavy smoky beer well and brightens the flavor as well.  Lower on the spice character and definitely less sweet than the other two barrel aged La Muerta's but nicely dried out with the tannins of the oak high on the palate as well as the finish.  9% ABV
