This new IIPA from Sixpoint showcases the relatively new Strata hop out of Oregon. Strata passes along its dense tropical fruit aromas and flavors with passion fruit shining through most prominently blended with dank hop resin without the any catty aromas or flavors. The alcohol is well hidden and there is little to no malt sweetness in the beer at all. The addition of Idaho 7 brings a classic deep earthiness to the finish balance out the dynamic tropical flavors throughout. 8.7% ABV
