Many beers served at Oktoberfest parties in the US have a malty rich character that was very traditional and can be considered a Marzen style lager however if you go to any of the modern festival tents in Germany during Oktoberfest you will be served something much lighter. The Festbier is typically lighter in color brewed with some Vienna and pilsner malt to emphasize clean doughy bread character. To make this beer they used all North Carolina grown and malted barley with German Hops and Yeast. Expect a smooth lager beer with a Carolina local flavor. Cheers Y'all.
