| Description: | Pours dark ruby in color. The clarity is very good and allows you to see the deep red hues straight through the glass. The head is abundant, with a dense pillowy head, and leaves nice lacing.The nose is rich with juicy malt aromas. Stone fruits such as plums and cherries are noticed, and accompanied by toffee, figs and toast. The flavor favors the nose for the most part. Allowed to come up a few degrees, more desired malty flavors are tasted. Fruity esters are noticeable without being overwhelming. The mouthfeel is full and warming and finishes with notes of currant and black cherry. 10% ABV | |
