Brewed for Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes 20th anniversary this variation of Square Root 225, the wildly popular 15th anniversary beer.  This saison has been brewed with grapes and then aged in various barrels that once held BFM's flagship beer Abbaye de Saint Bon Chien.  Pours a slightly cloudy sunshine gold.  Nose is deeply complex and much fuller than youd expect from the color.  Notes of sherry, port, oak, fresh grass, fermented orange, honey and a tart white grape.  Initial sourness is extremely aggresive with a sherry vinegar sour note hits the back of the throat and fades to grape skin, sour cherry, oak, vanilla, musty cellar funk and a white wine finish.
