What once was old just got older and stronger and much more complex as the famed Third Coast Old Ale of Bell's Brewery takes an extra-long nap in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels to soak up all that extra booze soaked oak nuances for a succulent and devilish charm. A plethora of fruit begins with cherry, date, fig and raisin across a caramelized breadiness and into a boozy, nutty and savory bourbon character. Very well balanced, the hops bring a woodsy earthiness to the brew. It finishes up with oak and vanilla with a lingering booziness. 12.6% ABV
