The newest beer in the series was inspired by a classic oatmeal raisin cookie recipe. Divine Reserve No. 19 is a Spiced Oatwine. The base beer started with an English-style barleywine and their signature Saint Arnold ale yeast – it’s got a rich malt character with notes of dried fruit esters. To accomplish the oatmeal flavor and finish, they used malted oats, which provide texture and a warm grain-like flavor. A small amount of cinnamon and nutmeg was also used in balance to finish off this homage to the oatmeal raisin cookie. 10.4% ABV
