A "proper this" and a "proper that." The British do it "Proper" and that fact is the inspiration behind Milwaukee's beer inovators, Lakefront Brewery's "Proper Porter" (say that five times, fast). The Brits traversed the high seas in hope of a new life. Change isnt fun but can be necessary. But one thing these hard working sailors didn't want to change was their only companion, the Porter. Fills you up, makes you think you just had a delicious black bread when really, you just put down a proper beer; light on the body, heavy on the darkness. Like the hug of a New England Fog, this Porter knows it's job and does it well.  Land-ho!
