Pours a dark muddy amber with ruby highlights. Ffrothy, rocky beige head that fades slowly with heavy lacing. Nose of dark fruits -- plum, fig, dark berries. Initial taste is lightly vinous and dry, with some cocoa thrown in. Lots of dark fruit juice f;lavors that build as it warms. Slightly tart, with notes of raisins, dates, black cherries, and bakers cocoa.  Smooth and easy drinking for a big Belgian.
