Rich red in color with little to no head, you are met with rich aromas of caramel and cherry alongside spiced orange.  The flavor is rich with fig and sweet honeyed oats, warming alcohol and grapefruit, very much in keeping with what you'd expect from an American take on barley wines, it is both sticky and sweet with dark fruit and resinously hopped giving your palate a full bodied brew to sip. 10.4% ABV
