⌂ > Mikkeller Hallo Ich Bin with Mango

From Mikkeller's new Berliner Weisse Series, Hallo Ich Bin, this tart, German-style wheat beer is brewed with the addition of Mango fruit. On the nose, notes of uncooked sourdough bread and soft floral perfume and mango fruit juice. Lactic acidity is leading but tempered by mango.  The fruit is pronounced but never cloying, balancing very well. The tart, fruitiness is balanced by a light, doughy wheat malt backbone. Light bodied with moderate carbonation, the beer finishes crisp and bone-dry. An approachable, refreshingly tart wheat beer.  3.7% ABV
