⌂ > Saint Arnold Bishop's Barrel #21

Belgian Quad aged on Bourbon with Cherries.  Pours brilliant red tinted mahogony brown.  Medium khaki head dissapates quickly.  Nose is heavy on dark fruits - plum, fig, black cherry.  Bourbon aromas are present but not overwhelming.  Initial taste is sweet and sticky but not at all hot with almost no warming alcohol one might expect from a beer of this heft.  Toffee and cherry juice midtaste over candi sugar, fig and molasses.  Oak and cherry skins on the finish.  Let this one warm.
