Description: | The Weeping Radish Brewery opened in 1986 and the first beer brewed was a German Style Wheat. In honor of the Weeping Radish’s 30th Anniversary the NC Brewer’s Guild with Sierra Nevada Brewing Company recreated the recipe and christened it in honor of the industry’s founding father. They have re-brewed Sierra Nevada's tribute beer using local malts including Triticale grain from Durham’s Epiphany Malt House. Triticale is a unique hybrid of wheat and rye and offers a spicy, yet soft, malt flavor to the traditional German-Inspired wheat beer. 6.0% ABV | |
