| Description: | In ancient Irish mythology, there was an all-powerful being they called The Morrigen, known as the Goddess of War, Fate, and Death. The Morrigen was a shapeshifter, an omnicient warrior who could could predict death and crush all who opposed her. When Jameson approached the folks at Martin House to create a collaborative brew, they knew that this brew would be a legendary force to be reckoned with, earning it this fearsome moniker. The Morrigan is a Blonde Barleywine, aged in Jameson Irish Whiskey barrels for 3 months. The aging process yielded a beautifully boozy ale that boasts strong flavors of rich oak, bourbon, sweet honey and smooth vanilla. Pouring a clear honey hue, the Phantom Queen's namesake has a medium to full body and packs a punch at 12.2% ABV. |
