This beer is a rye beer, a grain it is becoming increasingly unusual to see outside the IPA category. While Rye and IPA are a great flavor combination, this far less agressively hopped rye amber lets the spicy notes of the rye truly shine. Deep ruby amber in color the black pepper and earth malt notes carry from the nose to the palate and linger on the finish.
