Pours a blush toned copper with a foamy white head, the wine barrel aging of this beer provides a great dark fruit presence and dries out this brew, giving it a depth and complexity of flavour and aroma. Moreover, it has a bit of malt backbone giving it a caramelly depth that balances well with flavors of subtle grassy funk provided by a decent amount of yeast in the brew.  The finish is vinous, dry and just the right amount of acidity to leave you wanting another sip. ABV: 8.5%
