The blackberries give this brew a beautiful raspberry color. It's aged in wine barrels with strains of wild Belgian and American yeast.  It gives off tart and acidic aromas, as well as an earthy woodiness. There is much complexity in the flavor with tart blackberries, oak, sweetness from the fruit, and some grassy, earthy funk. The barrel-aging gives this brew a very dry, wine-like finish.
