Early Bird started as a classic milk stout then Coronado approached its neighbors down the street, award-winning Bird Rock Coffee & Roasters. After several cuppings, the team decided on a robust French Roast, and the final beer uses more than one pound of coffee per barrel of beer. You can really taste the coffee in Early Bird. It adds a lot of complexity and pairs really well with the chocolate and complex maltiness. 5.5% ABV
