| Description: | From the Trip in the Woods series of barrel aged beers. Pours onyx black with a persistant dark khaki head. The nose is full of sweet chocolate, oak, coconut and sticky caramel. Initial flavor is intensely sweet with chocolate, oats, coconut and unroasted coffee beans. Bitter dark chocolate, espresso and booze linger on the palate. Letting the beer warm will bring more barrel notes of vanilla, leather, peppercorn and spice to the forefront. | |
