Description: | This beer is unlike anything you've had. The brewers first made a saison base. Then they fermented it in French oak wine barrels with Brettanomyces, a wild yeast coveted for its earthy and funky tones. After seven months, they add fresh apricots and referment it with a Belgian saison yeast. The result is glass brimming with farmhouse funk and damp earth in contrast to bright, juicy apricot. Tartness just peeks through in the taste. The finish is very dry and pleasantly funky. 8.1% ABV | |
