Description: | Torn Label's barleywine that has been aged in Tom's Town bourbon barrels for a year. Pours a light chestnut color with heady aromas of caramel, plum, and some apple brandy. The barrel aging adds notes of oak and vanilla while tempering the boozy sweetness of the bourbon. Slight hoppiness for balance, and the finish has a nice caramel, malty sweetness that lingers without being cloying. ABV: 11.2% | |
