| Description: | This Oatwine is essentially an English style Barleywine with a oats in the malt bill. The beer has been aged on Whistle Pig Rye barrels. Pours a deep ruby amber with slight off white head. Toffee, caramel, brown sugar, black pepper and leather on the nose. Medium carbonation cuts the sticky toffee pudding and whiskey character. Complexity grows as the beer warms. We recomend drinking at 55 degrees or warmer. | |
