Pours a slightly ruby hued, opaque copper with a fluffy white head.  Aromas of dry tequila and a tangy and tart fruitiness effuse from this brew.  Secondary to what one garners from the aroma, this brew does not bear down in a mighty pucker of sour, but instead settles into a happy, fruit forward tang of cherry and lime that balances with the dry, smokiness of the tequila barrel and the peppery, green apple flavors that tequila is noted for.  The finish is dry, mildly sweet and is also the only moment the distinct  astringency of the tequila can be noted, which in this instance brings this beer to a bright and none too cloying end note.7.3% ABV
